Tips on Caring for Your Jewelry

  1. Keep it dry: Getting jewelry wet is always detrimental. It can lead to micro-cracks, a loss of natural shine, and permanent water stains. Therefore, always remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, bathing, or cleaning with household chemicals.
  2. Keep it away from chemicals: While this may seem obvious, harmful chemicals are heavily present in everyday lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays. Ensure your jewelry is kept far away from these products.
  3. Put it on last: To minimize any potential chemical exposure, make it a habit to put your jewelry on last (after makeup and perfume) and take it off first.
  4. Special Material Protection: Do not expose leather jewelry to water or any form of moisture under any circumstances. Additionally, always make sure your plated jewelry is thoroughly dry prior to storing—trapped moisture is the primary cause of natural tarnish and fading.
  5. Know when to take it off: Most people remember to take their jewelry off before going to bed, but frequently forget to remove it when swimming, gardening, cleaning, or playing sports. Please proactively remove your pieces before any physical or high-moisture activities.

If your item develops a structural or manufacturing quality issue within 30 days of receipt, please contact us immediately for a free repair or replacement. House of Kailash will fully cover all repair and reshipment costs for verified, quality-related defects.

After 30 Days

For any product issues arising after the initial 30-day window—including those caused by normal wear, daily usage, or accidental damage—we do not provide monetary refunds. However, we remain committed to the longevity of your pieces and proudly offer dedicated repair services. For repairs processed after 30 days, the customer will only need to cover two-way shipping costs. Any applicable repair fees (if applicable) will depend entirely on the level of damage.
